Eye-catching in any planting scheme
Also known as Sea Holly, these herbaceous perennials are surprisingly hassle-free. With their silver-veined, spiky bracts and vibrant blue flowers, they make for an impressive feature in any planting scheme. Eryngium produce long-lasting blooms from July through to August which make them ideal for flower cuttings. The Big Blue variety boasts an egg-shaped flowerhead surrounded by a ruff of silvery blue. Colouration becomes vivid in full sun and its spiky foliage discourages wildlife from grazing.
